Vacuum Pressing Pumps

Vacuum Pressing Solutions for Industrial and Commercial Applications
Vacuum pressing is a precise and efficient method used across a wide range of industries to bond, form, and shape materials using uniform atmospheric pressure. At Circutec Australia, we supply high-quality vacuum pumps and systems designed for demanding vacuum pressing applications in woodworking, composite manufacturing, plastics processing, and more.
Whether you’re producing custom furniture, shaping carbon fibre, or laminating decorative surfaces, our vacuum systems provide the consistency and reliability needed for high-end results
What Is Vacuum Pressing?
By eliminating air from an enclosed environment, usually a bag or chamber, vacuum pressing produces negative pressure. This compresses the content within the chamber consistently over all surfaces, thereby affecting air pressure. Vacuum pressing guarantees complete, even contact, independent of the form or intricacy of the item, unlike mechanical clamping.
This approach is particularly helpful for fragile materials or complex moulds, where consistent pressure is vital to prevent warping, air bubbles, or unequal bonding. Vacuum pressing has therefore grown into an essential operation in sectors where dimensional accuracy and surface quality count.
Vacuum Pressing Examples
Veneer Presses – For Bonding Synthetic Veneers to Furniture
Vacuum pressing is commonly used in veneering to bond synthetic or natural veneers onto furniture surfaces. Eliminating air from the press bag guarantees uniform pressure throughout the whole panel, therefore producing a smooth, bubble-free finish.
This method is ideal for both flat and curved surfaces, and is widely used in:
- Cabinetry and furniture manufacturing
- Architectural panelling and interior fit-outs
- Custom woodworking
Vacuum veneer presses reduce setup time and improve the quality of laminated panels.
Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Moulding
In VARTM, dry fibre is added to a mould and sealed under a vacuum. Resin is then pulled through the fibres, saturating them fully without air pockets.
This method is used in:
- Automotive and aerospace components
- Boatbuilding and marine parts
- Industrial composite structures
Vacuum ensures stronger, lighter, and cleaner composite parts, with improved resin flow and reduced defects.
Suitable products for this application

Oil Filled Rotary Vane Pumps
SV series single-stage oil-filled rotary vane vacuum pump is a reliable, durable, economical and adaptable range of vacuum pumps.
In the circular pump body, is an air suction valve and exhaust valve (stator). The vanes are equipped with an eccentric slot in the rotor. The vane blades divide the pump chamber into three parts. The volume of the pump chamber keeps changing periodically as the rotor rotates to finish the process of gas suction, compression and elimination.

Dry Screw Vacuum Pumps
LG series dry screw vacuum pumps can manage both condensable vapours and some solids with no residue. They offer a number of advantages over the traditional vacuum pump designs. There’s is no oil or water in contact with the process vapours, so therefore they are considered environmentally friendly.
